Top ten biggest river in the world

1. Nile

The Nile River is the longest river in the world, at over 6,650 kilometers (4,130 miles). It flows through nine countries of Africa, including Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya and Egypt. Almost two-thirds of its course are in Ethiopia and Sudan. The Nile has two major tributaries: the White Nile and the Blue Nile. The White Nile has its source in Lake Victoria and flows north through Uganda where it merges with the Blue Nile at Khartoum to form the Nile River proper which flows into Egypt from Wadi Halfa across the northern edge of the Sahara Desert.

2. Amazon

Today I discovered something amazing in the Big River Amazon, an animal I had never seen before, it was an animal that looked like a cross between a horse and pig, but was not afraid of humans at all! The way this animal would act towards humans and horses was very interesting to me because as I have seen in many other cases animals will run from humans as soon as they see them. To my surprise this animal did not do this, it would even let you get up close to it and pet it, I could not believe my eyes!

3. Mississippi

No one can say with certainty how long the Mississippi River has been in existence. Some researchers estimate that the Big River first appeared between 10,000 and 12,000 years ago and was formed by melting glaciers from the North American ice sheet that covered much of Canada during the last ice age. However, there is evidence that suggests its flow goes back as far as 150 million years ago when the continent of Africa split off from the supercontinent Gondwana and began drifting northward.
